We would have been new customers after Mark’s Water Treatment was acquired by Spencer’s Soft Water. A check sent in advance of an expected water softener salt delivery was cashed and no delivery occurred. No response to calls and letters about the refund.
I was not home, but my wife said he did a good job as far as she knew.
Jason Miller has been such a delight to work with on multiple occasions. His generosity to the community is beyond reproach.

About Spencer's Quality Water
Spencer's Quality Water is a water softening equipment supplier in Granger, Indiana. The company also goes by the name Spencer's Soft Water.
What a water treatment supplier in Granger takes on
A business in this category deals with the water that comes into a home or workplace. Its categories cover softening equipment, filters, purification, drinking water supply, water coolers, bottled water and water testing. In practice that means two kinds of work: equipment that treats your water at the tap, and water and supplies brought to your door.
On the equipment side, the company says it installs, repairs and services water softeners. It also describes whole-home filtration and reverse osmosis systems for drinking water. Its website names treatment for tannins, nitrates and iron, along with ultraviolet lights.
Granger gets 40.5 inches of precipitation and 53.3 inches of snow a year, per NOAA normals for 1991 to 2020. About 89 percent of homes in town heat with utility gas, per the American Community Survey.
Where Spencer's Quality Water puts its work
The company describes itself as veteran and family-owned, with both residential and commercial customers. Beyond equipment, it reports delivery of 5 gallon bottled water, water cooler setup and softener salt. Its water deliveries include spring, distilled and alkaline water. Its website names service towns such as Mishawaka, Niles and South Bend, across Indiana and Michigan.
Spencer's Quality Water holds a 4.7 rating from 250 reviews. Reviewers mention salt delivery most, with crews who fill the tank and carry off the empty bags. Others point to friendly staff, the taste of the delivered water and a repair visit where the technician showed the faulty part. A few reviews are critical, and you can read them above before you decide.
The company says decades of experience stand behind its work. It names a quick in-home water test among its options, so you can start by learning what is in your water.
