Ribeye was phenomenal. Service was great. Vibes were great.
Great servers and great food.
The steak platter and crab dumplings were excellent. The karage was ok as had better karages elsewhere. Looking forward to going back to try other food items . There was an issue with the air conditioner at the time we went so it was quite hot. The service was odd with spacing but then it got better. The second server was attentive to the fact of how hot it was and offered a free dessert.

Muni Robata is a Japanese restaurant and steak house in downtown Toronto.
A restaurant in this category serves Japanese food for a sit-down meal. The steak house side adds grilled cuts of meat to that menu. Muni Robata describes its own cooking as centred on the open flame.
Beyond the grill, the business says its kitchen also turns out tempura, sushi and drinks. Its website describes a menu shaped by Japanese robata grilling and by European comfort cooking. The dishes are meant for sharing, so you can plan on ordering several plates for the table.
Toronto sees 831 millimetres of precipitation and 121 centimetres of snow in a year, per Environment Canada normals for 1981 to 2010.
The business calls itself a modern Japanese bistro. Its website names grilled meats and seafood as the core of the menu. Those come with sauces made in house and plain, honest ingredients, the restaurant states.
The kitchen says it aims for food that is bold and filling, with no fuss around it. It also lists drinks as a main part of the visit, alongside the food. The tone it describes is relaxed, built around good times at the table.
Muni Robata holds a 4.5 rating from 989 Google reviews. Reviewers mention the cod dishes, the steak and friendly, funny servers most often. A smaller group describes service that felt slow or inattentive on their night.
The name itself carries the idea, the website explains. Muni means peerless, and robata refers to traditional charcoal grilling.
Open-flame cooking is the focus at this sleek Japanese eatery also serving sushi, tempura & drinks.
